Loyd Nelson’s love of real country music runs deep. He grew up in the small town of Minden, Louisiana, and his parents encouraged him and his two older sisters to learn to play musical instruments at a young age. He got his first guitar and never looked back! Loyd Kept music a central part of his family, often all playing or singing in their local
church and at festivals and competitions. It was only a matter of time, until he would be introduced to radio. He was invited to visit “The Big Q” 94.1… and a radio star was born.
Loyd has a passion for Keeping REAL Country music on local radio, introducing younger generations to classic country, and to new music that carries on the tradition of that real, classic country sound.
